Pianist Bethany Cook began her study of music at the Wollongong Conservatorium, and has gained a Bachelor of Music (Hons.) from Sydney Conservatorium and a Masters of Music with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, London; studying with David Miller, Elizabeth Powell, Michael Dussek and Vanessa Latarche. She has been awarded scholarships from The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust, the Foundation for Young Australians and The Ian Potter Foundation. Bethany has been accompanist for many arts organizations including Sydney Conservatorium Access Centre, Wollongong Conservatorium of Music, Sydney Philharmonia Choir, The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music and SummerMusic International Singing School. She has broadcast on ABC Classic FM and 2MBSFM radio and been joint winner of the Accompanist prize in the Mietta Song Recital Award. For the past four years Bethany has been working in London as a freelance accompanist, chamber musician and arts manager. She has toured across Europe and America with chamber music groups including The Korros and Camarilla Ensembles, Wollongong Conservatorium Flute Choir and the Sueno and Clarion Duos.
